On December 22, 1989 (the 25th of the lunar winter moon), a prehistoric giant building was discovered in western Liaoning.

On December 21, 1989, the Hongshan Cultural Site in western Liaoning Province, 5,000 years ago, after the discovery of the female temples and stone tombs that made a sensation at home and abroad three years ago, there have been a number of important and peculiar discoveries in recent years. Among them, the most amazing are the giant buildings in Niuheliang, the large tombs of primitive social leaders, and the exquisite jade artifacts unearthed in many stone tombs. Archaeological experts believe that this series of new important discoveries provides richer and more detailed first-hand materials for continuing to explore the origin of Chinese civilization. The common perception of scholars from the United States, France, Japan, India and other countries after field visits is that the Hongshan Cultural Site in western Liaoning is a worldwide discovery comparable to the Egyptian pyramids and the ancient civilization of Mohengjedaro in the Indus River.

The prehistoric giant building with the nature of a pyramid in my country was first discovered by Liaoning archaeologists in Niuhelang. It is grand in scale and extraordinary in momentum. The earthen part of the large-scale building has a manually rammed mound in the center. The rammed earth pile is nearly 40 meters in diameter and is surrounded by huge rocks. The inner stone ring is built into a regular circle with a diameter of nearly 60 meters. The entire building covers an area of nearly 10,000 square meters. Experts have concluded that the site has a history of more than 5000 years.
