Twenty-eight years ago today, on June 26, 1997 (May 22, 1997 lunar calendar), the Chinese and Korean rafting team went missing for 13 days with a false alarm. The Chinese and Korean bamboo raft rafting team members, who had lost contact with all parties for 13 consecutive days, finally got in touch with Dongguk University in South Korea within the pre-agreed time on the afternoon of June 26. The five Chinese and Korean bamboo raft rafting team members are all safe and sound, and they have drifted to the sea 90 kilometers away from Xiaoheishan Island. According to the voyage, they can arrive at Incheon Port in South Korea after another week of drifting. The five Chinese and Korean rafting team members set off from Zhujiajian, Zhoushan, Zhejiang on June 15, 1997 and started the expected 15-day '97 Chinese and Korean bamboo raft cross-sea rafting expedition. Due to the absence of news 12 days after the departure of the expedition team, the Chinese and South Korean organizers of the event were afraid that the team members would have an accident. Therefore, South Korean national television KVS and many Chinese news media released the radio frequencies carried by the rafting team members and the contact number of the main organizer. Fortunately, it was a false alarm. News raw data sources → https://www.abtool.cn/today_detail/1mvt.html 17WorldNews[2025.09.27-13:52] 访问:73
