Delimit the areas where the Eighth Route Army, the New Fourth Army, and the South China Anti-Japanese Column accepted the surrender of the Japanese army, and give them the right to participate in all work involving Japan to demonstrate fairness. 3. Strictly punish traitors and disband puppet troops. 4. Fair and reasonable reorganization of the army, demobilization, relief of refugees, reduce taxes, and relieve the people of poverty. 5. Recognize the legal status of all parties, cancel all decrees that hinder people's freedom of assembly, association, speech, and publication, abolish secret service agencies, and release patriotic political prisoners. 6. Immediately convene a meeting of representatives of all political parties and non-party affiliation to discuss major issues after the end of the War of Resistance, formulate a democratic governance program, end political tutelage, establish a democratic coalition government with national unity, and prepare for a free and unfettered universal suffrage for the National Assembly. The Communist Party of China is willing to work hard to find an agreement with the Kuomintang of China and other democratic parties in order to quickly resolve various urgent issues and completely realize Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Three People's Principles.
