The plenary session elected members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee; based on the nomination of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, it approved the members of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and decided on the composition of the Central Military Commission; approved the 18th session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
