On October 2, 1995, the first Sino-Korean joint venture bank was established
Thirty years ago today, on October 2, 1995 (August 8, 1995 in the lunar calendar), the first China-South Korea joint venture bank was established. On October 2, 1995, the signing ceremony of the contract charter of the "Qingdao International Bank" jointly established by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and the First Bank of Korea was held in Beijing. This is the first financial institution jointly established by Bank of China and South Korea in my country. It is also the fourth financial institution jointly established by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and foreign capital, with both parties holding 50% of the shares.
