On October 1, 1938, the large-scale documentary "Yan 'an and the Eighth Route Army" shot the first shot at the Huangdi Mausoleum in central Shaanxi Province. "Yan 'an and the Eighth Route Army" was directed and directed by Yuan Muzhi and photographed by Wu Yanxian and others. Before the film was filmed, Yuan Muzhi wrote a detailed outline of the film.
