Today, 100 years ago, on July 11, 1925 (May 21, 1925 in the lunar calendar), Jiayin Weekly resumed publication. The monthly magazine Jiayin was founded in Tokyo, Japan in May 1914. Editor-in-chief Zhang Shizhao (Qiu Tong). It stopped publication in November of the same year. There are 10 issues in total. After Zhang Shizhao became the chief education officer of Duan Qirui's executive government, he published Jiayin Weekly in Beijing on July 11th, 1925. Discontinued in February 1927. There are 45 issues in total. Jiayin School is named after this publication. The journal published anti-Yuan (Shikai) articles in the early stage. In the later period, it advocated respecting Confucius and reading classics, opposed vernacular language, attacked the New Culture Movement, and became the position of feudal retroists.
