On December 21, 1992, the second phase of the Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway project and the opening ceremony of the entire line were held at Qinhuangdao North Railway Station. The first phase of the Daqin Railway project runs from Datong to Dasizhuang, Sanhe County, Hebei Province, and is 410.8 kilometers long. It was opened to transport coal on December 28, 1988. The second phase of the Daqin Railway Project is a continuation and extension of the first phase of the project. It has a total length of 242.2 kilometers. It starts from Dasizhuang Station in the west and passes through Sanhe, Ji County, Yutian, Zunhua, Qianxi, Qian 'an, Lulong, Funing and other counties in Hebei Province and Tianjin City, and finally arrives at the Qinhuangdao Phase III Coal Terminal.
