In mid-December 1992, my country's first futures brokerage company appeared. With the support and assistance of the Guangdong Province Government and relevant departments of the State Council, Guangdong Vantone Futures Brokerage Company was officially announced after a period of trial operation. Recently, a number of large-scale production means trading markets or exchanges have been established one after another, involving important industries such as coal, chemicals, steel burden materials and petrochemicals. The person in charge of relevant departments of the State Council pointed out that to run a futures brokerage company well, we must first change the concept of treating economic business as a "shell company" for "short buying and short selling" speculation. At the same time, we must conduct strict review of the establishment of futures brokerage companies and provide necessary policy guidance to prevent futures trading from falling into chaos.
