Battle of Dresden

On August 27, 1813, Napoleon I defeated the anti-French coalition forces at the Battle of Dresden. The 214,000 anti-French coalition troops suffered 38,000 casualties, and the 135,000 French troops suffered about 10,000 casualties. Morrow, a former French general who defected to the anti-French alliance, was killed in this battle.
