Charles Fourier (1772~1837) was a French ideologist of utopian socialism. Born into a businessman's family in Bezangsong, the French commercial center. In his early years, he worked as an apprentice, engaged in various commercial activities, and had a deep understanding of the capitalist economic system. He left business in 1812 and immersed himself in the design of utopian socialism. His main works include "Theory on the Four Movements and a Universal Destiny","On the Unification of the Universe" and "Economic and Cooperative New World". He believes that the development of human society so far has gone through four systems: obscurantism, patriarchal system, barbarism and civilization. They are all forced societies dominated by lust and repulsion, and they have all gone through the process of ups and downs. The civilized system regarded by the bourgeoisie as an eternal is just a stage of social development. This system is the source of all evil, a war in which everyone opposes each other, an extreme polarization between rich and poor, a paradise for commercial fraud, and a hotbed of moral corruption. He advocated eliminating civilized systems and establishing a harmonious system. In a harmonious system, people form cooperatives according to their personalities, called "Farangi". Everyone can work according to their interests and hobbies, and can change jobs at any time. Frange's products are distributed according to labor, capital and talent, and everyone can become a capitalist and eliminate class opposition. The collaborative system will combine education with productive labor, women will be completely liberated, and urban-rural differences and confrontations will disappear. But Fourier did not advocate social revolution and only expected the rich to donate generously.
