576 years ago today, on August 16, 1449 (July 28, 1449), dominoes spread in Italy and throughout Europe. Dominoes actually originated from the ancient Chinese "Pai Gow". According to records, after it spread to Italy in the 18th century, people used the points on Pai Gow to make some jigsaw puzzles. Therefore, in order to let more people play dominoes, the missionary Domino made a large number of wooden dominoes and invented various ways to play. Soon, wooden dominoes quickly spread in Italy and throughout Europe, and the game of dominoes became an elegant sport for Europeans. Later, people named this game of dominoes "Domino" in order to thank Domino for bringing them such a good sport. By the 19th century, domino had become a worldwide sport.
