Jin Shengtan (1608-August 7, 1661, the 13th day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar) was a famous person named Ruocai. He was born in Changzhou County, Suzhou Prefecture (now Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province) in Nanzhili (Qing Dynasty changed Jiangnan Province) in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. He is known as the pioneer of vernacular writing. He once revised "Tui Back Picture". Born on the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar in the 36th year of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty (1608), his original name was Zhang Cai. His surname changed to Jin because he was adopted by relatives. After the death of the Ming Dynasty, it was changed to celebrity auspicious, and the word holy sigh. He is arrogant and strange, wears shell glasses, is talented, and is known as the number one prodigy in Wu County. Wang Yingkui said that he was "extremely intelligent, but his intentions were illusory, and the devil came to him... When I write, I will benefit from the opportunity to distinguish and turn over, and always have God's help." Xu Zeng said,"The holy sigh is a lazy person and has a good leisure. He is proud of the water and the forest. He likes to drink, and he is invited to the drinker every day. When he is free, he is impatient." Qiu Weiyuan said about him in "Shu Yuan Xu Yu":"I have been trapped in green felt for many years. I have been exposed to Buddha fire and practiced meditation to appreciate the taste of a Taoist." Jin Shengtan commented on "Zhuangzi","Lisao","Historical Records","Du Shi","Water Margin", and "The Legend of the West Chamber" one by one, calling them the "Six Talented Scholars Book". Zheng Zhenduo said: Over the past three hundred years,"Water Margin" and the seventy chapters of Jin Shengtan's criticism have almost become the same term. "In February of the 18th year of Shunzhi (1661), at the age of 54, he was imprisoned for the" Temple Crying Case "and was charged with the crime of" shaking people's hearts and advocating chaos, which is different from the country's law."There was a letter from home in prison: " See the words: Eating pickled vegetables and soybeans together has a taste of walnut. Hu Shi said that he was "a great freak in the 17th century" and wrote the thirty-three wonderful articles of "Not It's Happy", which are full of fun, and the content is everywhere in life, such as "In summer, in a vermilion plate, extricate yourself with a quick knife, and cut green watermelon. Jin Shengtan was deeply influenced by Li Zhi and resisted tradition all his life. The concept of "Six Talented Scholars" was inspired by Li Zhi. Li Yu, a famous drama critic in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties,"A Story of Leisure Events. "Pattern Second" said,"Reading Jin Shengtan's review of" The West Chamber "can kill the hearts of talents through the ages... It has been more than 400 years since the beginning of "Xixiang". There are tens of millions of people who have promoted "Xixiang" as the first lyrics. However, the only one who can point out the reason why it is the first has a golden holy sigh... The holy sigh of commenting on "Xixiang" can be said to be a simple and profound, and there is no longer any comment left in it."
