The French dramatist Jean Racine was born

Jean Racine
On December 22, 1639, French dramatist Jean Racine was born.
Racine was born into a family of small officials. His parents died as a child and he was adopted by his grandmother and godmother. Racine was talented and quick-witted. His later achievements were due to two things: the training of the Ransenite priests in the monastery of the Royal Marina in Paris, who taught him Latin and Greek, and he had a deep understanding of ancient Western culture. Second, the Molière troupe rehearsed his original plays "De Bayette" (1664) and "Alexandria" (1665), which gave him the experience of writing stage plays. Racine's works were mainly published in the ten years between 1667 and 1677, such as Ondomag (1667), The Stick (1668), Brittanigus (1669), Buenice (1670), Bayazet (1672), Mitridat (1673), Iphelenia (1675), and Feder (1677).
Racine's last masterpiece,"Fedell", was attacked by conservative aristocrats and suspended as "indecent." Due to the king's intervention to calm down the situation, Racine wrote for twelve years. He served as a historian at the court of Louis XIV. In 1689, at the request of Mrs. de Manteil, he wrote "Esstelle" and "Adali", but was criticized by Moliere as a hypocrite and hypocrite that he satirized twenty or thirty years ago. Until his death in 1699, he did not write a script for his beloved stage.
Racine's drama creation is mainly tragic, and his works are called classical drama masterpieces.
