The charter stipulates that the China Anti-Cult Association is a public welfare and non-profit corporate social group voluntarily formed by people from all walks of life across the country in science and technology, social sciences, religious, legal, and journalism who are interested in opposing cult organizations, and registered and established in accordance with the law. The purpose of the association is to promote the scientific spirit and humanistic spirit, safeguard the dignity of the law, respect freedom of religious belief, unite and contact people from all walks of life, and oppose all cult organizations that endanger people's lives, property and safety, disrupt social public order, undermine the implementation of laws and social stability., strive to improve the public's vigilance, discernment and prevention capabilities against cult organizations. All China citizens who support the charter of the association and are willing to join the association can become members of the association by submitting an application for membership, which will be introduced by two members of the association and discussed and approved by the Standing Council of the association. The conference discussed and approved the "Constitution of China Anti-Cult Association" and elected the first council, standing council and the members of the association's leading bodies in accordance with democratic procedures.
