On this day, 74 years ago, on June 1, 1951 (April 27, 1951, the Lunar Calendar), International Children's Day was named. In April 1951, the Women's International Democratic Federation met in Moscow, the Soviet Union, and decided that June 1 of each year would be International Children's Day. The resolution calls for the protection of children's rights to survival, health care and education around the world. It was pointed out that all democratic groups and adult men and women around the world should fight against the employment of male and female child labor. The state should protect children's health and reduce military spending to meet children's needs.
