Emperor Xianfeng, Emperor Xianfeng, of the Aixinjueluo family, was named Yi Yi (July 17, 1831-August 22, 1861), posthumously named Emperor Wenzong Xian of the Qing Dynasty, and the fourth son of Emperor Daoguang. Born in Chengjingzhai in Yuanmingyuan, Beijing, he succeeded to the throne at the age of 20. His year name is Xianfeng. He reigned for eleven years (1850 - 1861). He died in the Yanbo Zhishuang Hall of Chengde Summer Resort and was buried in Dingling (Eastern Tomb of the Qing Dynasty in Zunhua County, Hebei Province). He was 31 years old. His temple name was Wenzong, and his posthumous title was Xie Tian Yi Yun Zhi Zhong Chui Mo De Zhen Wu Sheng Xiao Yuan Gong Duan Ren Kuan Min Zhuang Jian Xian Emperor. After Emperor Xianfeng ascended the throne, he was diligent in political affairs. After he ascended the throne, he issued an edict to seek talents and successively dismissed Mu Zhanga and Qiying, and the government gradually became more lively. At this time, natural and man-made disasters continued. The Taiping Rebellion and the Second Opium War broke out one after another. A series of unequal treaties were signed with the outside world. In the eighth year of Xianfeng, the "Tianjin Treaty" was signed, which also wanted to bring shame to the British and French allied forces. In the end, he was forced to cede a large area of northeastern land to Russia. China further lost its sovereignty, and the Qing Empire gradually became a semi-feudal and semi-colonial country.
