The third emperor of the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Gaozong of Tang Li Zhi, reigned for 34 years, created the rule of Yonghui, established Andong, Annan, and Shan Yu Duhufu, destroyed Goguryeo, died in the first year of Hongdao (683), at the age of 55, and was buried in Qianling, the temple name Gaozong, posthumous name Emperor Great Emperor.
Tang Gaozong Li Zhi (July 21, 628-December 27, 683), the word "Shan", was the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty (reigned from 649 to 683) and the ninth son of Li Shimin, Taizong of the Tang Dynasty. His mother was the eldest son of Empress Zhangsun of Wen Deshun Sheng, who was the third son.
In the fifth year of Zhenguan (631), he was granted the title of King of Jin. Later, Li Chengqian, the eldest son of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, and Li Tai, the second son of King of Wei, were abolished one after another. He was named the crown prince in the 17th year of Zhenguan (643). The twenty-third year of Zhenguan (649) was located in the Tai Chi Hall in Chang 'an, creating the Yonghui rule with the legacy of Zhenguan.
The territory of the Tang Dynasty was the largest during the time of Gaozong, starting from the Korean Peninsula in the east, the Aral Sea (the Caspian Sea) in the west, Lake Baikal in the north, and Hengshan in Vietnam in the south. It lasted for 32 years. Li Zhi reigned for 34 years. He died in the first year of Hongdao (683). At the age of 55, he was buried in Qianling. The temple was named Gaozong and posthumously named Emperor.
