Later, he came to Taiwan and founded the Economic Research Institute of Academia Sinica and was the first director; In the early 1950, he counseled the Accounting Office of the Executive Yuan to establish a national accounting system. Since the late 1950s, together with Liu Dazhong, Jiang Shuojie, Gu Yingchang, Zou Zhizhuang, Fei Jinghan, etc. (known as the Six Academicians), he has proposed financial policies for the government's reference and served as the author. In 1962, he organized the Economic Research Institute of Academia Sinica. In 1966, he was elected as an academician of Academia Sinica. He founded a Ph.D. in economics from Taiwan Province University; He used to be the head of the Department of Economics and the dean of the Research Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
