54 years ago today, on July 29, 1971 (June 8, 1971 lunar calendar), our country established diplomatic relations with Sierra Leone. Mountain roads, the local roads are mainly mud roads. These displaced people became refugees in neighboring countries. In a coup d'état on May 25, 1997, then-President Ahmed Tejan Kabbah was replaced by Army Major Johnny Paul Koroma, but President Kabbah was later reinstated.
