On October 28, 2010, the "National Veterinary Day", a festival of 1 million veterinarians in China, was officially launched at the first China Veterinary Conference. In order to better popularize veterinary knowledge, promote the progress of veterinary science and technology, establish the image of veterinary practitioners, expand the social influence of the veterinary industry, promote the development of social public health, and enhance international exchanges and cooperation, it is recommended that October 28 be the Chinese Veterinary Day every year, and activities such as the selection of advanced veterinary workers and the display of veterinary scientific research achievements will be held. Jia Yuling, President of the Chinese Veterinary Association, presided over the launch of the "National Veterinary Jia Youling pointed out that the establishment of the "National Veterinary Day" is to enhance the sense of responsibility of veterinary practitioners and improve the professionalism of veterinary practitioners. During the event, veterinary representatives sang "Veterinary Song" written by the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association.
