Originally known as Chen Yulan, also known as Chen Xueming, her ancestral home was in Shunde, Guangdong, and she was born in Shanghai. Her father was a small clerk in a newspaper office, and her mother was a housewife who was born as a maid. From the age of 8, she attended primary school for a year and a half. He entered the factory as a child labor at the age of 11 and has been working for seven years. Since the age of 15, he has been working while attending night school for workers. At the age of 16, he participated in the Shanghai Workers 'Movement and fought with capitalists in the factory. From then on, the reputation of "Little Guangdong" has been sung among the workers. He joined the Communist Party of China on August 23, 1936 and was one of the leaders of the branch. Since then, while working, he participated in underground party activities in the factory, and also took on the work of the branch. Later, he was expelled for the so-called "suspicion of the Communist Party" and "violating factory orders and participating in anti-Japanese activities." When the Anti-Japanese War broke out on August 13, Chen Ruoke moved to Wuhan with the factory and lost contact with the Party. In order to find a party organization, he traveled to Jincheng, Shanxi Province, studied at the East China Military and Political Cadre Training Institute, and rejoined the party. Later, he followed Chen Yi to Lingchuan to run the Eighth Route Army Jinnan Cadre School and married Zhu Rui, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee. Later, he served as deputy section chief of the Organization Section of the Party School of the Shanxi, Hebei and Henan District Party Committees and section chief directly under the Shandong Column. Since June 1939, he has served as a women's member of the Shandong Branch, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Province Women's National Salvation Federation, and a chief of the Organization Department of the Shandong Branch. In the autumn of 1940, when the joint conference of all walks of life in Shandong Province opened, he was elected as a resident member of the Provisional Council. When she was engaged in the Women's Committee, she mobilized middle-aged and elderly women to participate in the Anti-Japanese National Salvation Association; mobilized young women to establish young women's teams, literacy classes and sister troupes to perform street dramas, small dramas, songs and dances, etc., to publicize against the sale of marriages and abuse of women; compiled the publication "Shandong Women","Women's Handbook" and literacy textbooks, which enabled Shandong women's work at that time to achieve gratifying results. In the late autumn of the 1930s, tens of thousands of Japanese invaders swept through the Yimeng Mountains on a large scale. When the Eighth Route Army rushed down the mountains to break through, Chen Ruoke was about to give birth and stumbled. He lost contact with his troops. He fell into enemy forces on November 7, 1941. She bluntly stated in front of the Japanese army that she and her husband were both "anti-Japanese" and "shoot or kill you with the sword!"
