Thirty-one years ago today, on November 9, 1994 (October 7, 1994), a Russian helicopter carrying gold disappeared. A Russian Mi-2 helicopter carrying 36.9 kilograms of gold disappeared after taking off from somewhere in Amur Oblast. Russia has set up a special committee to find its whereabouts.
