On November 4, 1930, Yan Feng sent a telegram to Xianye and the Central Plains War ended
Ninety-five years ago today, on November 4, 1930 (September 14, 1930 in the lunar calendar), Yan Feng was electrified to go to war in the Central Plains. The war in the Central Plains could be ended thanks to Zhang Xueliang's support for Chiang. Therefore, a German newspaper praised Zhang Xueliang for maintaining national unity and loving world peace. On November 4, 1930, Yan Xishan and Feng Yuxiang were electrified to go to war. So far, the 7-month war in the Central Plains ended. During the war, Chiang Kai-shek and Yan, Feng and Li invested as many as 1.10 million troops, with more than 300,000 casualties. The front stretched for thousands of miles from Shandong in the east, Xiangfan in the west, and Changsha in the south. Due to the failure of the Guangxi faction in the previous Chiang-Gui War, they were powerless during the Central Plains War, so the attitude of Zhang Xueliang in the northeast became an important weight in the victory and defeat of both sides. Chiang Kai-shek lured Zhang Xueliang to the title of deputy commander of the navy, land and air forces. On September 18, 1930, Zhang Xueliang electrified Jiang and led the Northeast Army to enter the customs, launching an attack behind the Yan-Feng coalition army. The Yan-Feng coalition army quickly disintegrated, and Yan Feng was forced to electrify and leave the field.
