Guangzhou Peasant Movement Institute On July 3, 1924, the first Guangzhou Peasant Movement Institute officially opened. The Guangzhou Agricultural Lecture Institute was founded by Lin Boqu. On June 30, the 39th meeting of the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the Kuomintang adopted the implementation plan for the peasant movement. Based on Lin Boqu's suggestion, it was decided to organize a peasant movement workshop and appointed Peng Pai as the director of the Guangzhou Agricultural Lecture Institute. The Agricultural Lecture Institute is scheduled to last for one month, and will be selected as a farmer sports commissioner after graduation. During the establishment process, the teaching content was continuously enriched and the teaching time was gradually extended. There were 38 students in the first session, including 20 Communist Party members and socialist youth league members, with Peng Pai as the director. The institute focuses on the integration of theory and practice. It offers basic theoretical courses and professional courses, such as "Imperialism","Social Issues and Socialism","Summary of China History","China Peasant Issues", etc., as well as military training courses. Military training time accounts for 1/3. In addition, students are also organized to conduct in-depth investigations and research on the current situation and problems in rural areas in China. After graduation, students must return to their original places and engage in the local peasant movement.
