On this day, 898 years ago, on November 27, 1127 (October 22, 1127, the 1127 lunar calendar), Zhao Wei, Emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty, was born. Emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty, Zhao (shèn)(November 27, 1127, October 22, the first year of Jianyan-June 28, 1194, the ninth day of June, the fifth year of Shaoxi), Han nationality, the second emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty (reigned from 1162 to 1189), the seventh grandson of Emperor Taizu of the Song Dynasty, initially named Bo Cong, later renamed Yuan, given the name Wei, with the character Yong, and the posthumous title Shao Tong, Guan De Zhaogong, Zhe Wen Shenwu, Mingsheng Cheng Xiao Emperor. He was the adopted son of Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty. He turned out to be the sixth grandson of Zhao Defang, the second son of Taizu Zhao Kuangyin. His father was Zhao Zixi, King of Xiu 'an (chīng). Since Gaozong's only son, Prince Yuan Yi, had no heir after his death, he had to choose a successor from other clans. In the thirty-second year of Shaoxing (1162), Emperor Gaozong gave way to Zhao Wei for Emperor Xiaozong of Song Dynasty. The throne of the Song Dynasty returned to the chief residence of Emperor Taizu of Song Dynasty. Emperor Xiaozong of Song Dynasty reigned for 27 years and abdicated in the 16th year of Chunxi (1189) to give way to his son Zhao Dun, Song Guangzong. Shaoxi died of illness in the fifth year of 1194 at the age of 68. The posthumous title is Shao Tong, the same person, Guan De, Zhao Gong, Zhe Wen, Shen Wu, Ming Sheng, Cheng Xiao, and the temple name is Emperor Xiaozong. Buried in Yongfu Mausoleum.
