On October 12, 2003 (September 17, 2003 in the lunar calendar), China's first express passenger dedicated line, the Qinshen passenger dedicated line, was officially put into operation. The total length of the Qinshen passenger dedicated line is 404.641 kilometers. From Qinhuangdao to Shenyang, the whole journey only takes about 4.5 hours. A total of 30 new super bridges have been built on the line, with a total length of 42,095 meters, and 170 large and medium bridges. Among them, the Crescent River Bridge near Goubangzi has a total length of 10.26 kilometers, which ranks first in the length of domestic railway bridges. It was fully started on August 16, 1999. At 1 am on October 12, 2003, the T60 train from Changchun to Beijing departed from Shenyang North Railway Station and entered the "Qinshen Passenger Dedicated Line", marking the official operation of China's first express passenger dedicated line - Qinshen Passenger Dedicated Line. On February 1, 2007, the Qinshen Passenger Dedicated Line was merged into the "Beijing-Harbin Line" and was called the Qinshen Section of the Beijing-Harbin Line.
