After an autopsy, Japanese police found that Zhang Xiaolin was shot five times in the head and upper body. Zhang Xiaolin is from Cixi, Zhejiang. His original name was Xiao Lin, his nickname was A Hu, and his name was Yin. In 1912, he met Ji Yunqing, a gangster, and followed him to Shanghai to worship Fan Jincheng, a member of the Green Gang, as the "old man." Later, he recruited many disciples and gradually became one of the leaders of the Qing Gang. In 1919, he became brothers with Huang Jinrong and Du Yuesheng and became known as the "Three Tycoons of Shanghai". The latter three joined forces to establish Sanxin Company, specializing in opium drug trafficking. During the "April-December" coup in 1927, he organized the China Progressive Society with Huang Jinrong and Du Yuesheng to cooperate with Chiang Kai-shek in suppressing the Shanghai workers 'pickets. After the establishment of the Nanjing National Government, it was appointed by Chiang Kai-shek as an adviser to the General Command of the Navy, Land and Air Forces, a major general of the Military Commission, a supervisor of the Shanghai South China Gauze Exchange, and a member of the Executive Yuan. When Shanghai fell in 1937, at the behest of the Japanese secret service, the "New Asia Peace Promotion Association" was organized to act as a traitor.
