Zhao Feiyan (?- One year ago), formerly known as Yi Zhu, was the queen of Emperor Cheng of the Western Han Dynasty and the Empress Dowager during the reign of Emperor Ai of the Han Dynasty.

Zhao Feiyan is a legendary figure in China history. There are only a few sentences describing her in "Han Shu", but there are many unofficial histories about her. In the folk and history of China, she is famous for her beauty. The so-called "Huan Fei Yan Shou" refers to her and Yang Yuhuan, and Yan Shou is also often used to describe a beautiful woman with a light and thin body. At the same time, she also became a representative figure of the seductive emperor because of her beauty.

According to "Han Shu¡¤Zhuan Xing Zhuan No. 63", Zhao Feiyan was born humble, and her father was a musician who could compose beautiful music. After his father died, he lived in Chang 'an when he was a child. Yi Zhu and his sister Zhao Hede made a living in Chang 'an by weaving straw sandals and lived a very poor life. Later, she was adopted by an official surnamed Zhao and moved to Princess Yang 'a Palace as a maid. Under Princess Yang 'a, he was trained as a cabaret. The two sisters studied dancing seriously. After several years of training, Yi Zhu finally became as dexterous as a swallow. Every time she danced, she seemed to fly, so she changed her name to "swallow." Since then, people have called it "Swallow Swallow".

Her singing, dancing and beauty were appreciated by Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty, and she was called into the palace. She was named "Jieyu" (female official name) and became the emperor's love girl. After Zhao Feiyan was favored, he asked Emperor Cheng to call her sister Zhao Hede into the palace. A few years later, Emperor Cheng planned to make Zhao Feiyan an empress, but the empress dowager thought that he was from a humble background, so she did not agree to establish the empress. The historical records record: "Zhao Feiyan was fortunate, and the emperor wanted to establish an empress, but the empress dowager was difficult to do so because of his humble origins." Despite this, in the winter of 18 BC, in December, Emperor Cheng abolished his original Empress Xu. On July 13, 16 BC, Zhao Feiyan was established as the empress and became an important figure in the country. "The Tenth Period of Emperor Cheng in Hanshu" calls "the Zhao family in chaos".

In her early years, Feiyan was fascinated by a young boy who hunted birds. It was Hede who stopped her sister's love in time. She said to her sister: "We are going to make a fortune, so don't let those little loves get in the way."¡»

In their early years, the two sisters Feiyan and Hede often took Xiji Pills, which are said to be able to preserve youth forever. They stuffed it into their navel and melted it into their bodies. Their skin was as snowy as snow and their eyes were like stars. Later tomb raiders had long heard of the name and dug the formula out of the tomb, but part of it had been weathered. Only the basic ingredient, musk deer fragrance, could be seen, which had the ability to penetrate into the surroundings. It is said that this formula was also spread along the Silk Road to Central Asia. However, the biggest shortcoming of Xijiwan is that it destroys the reproductive system and can never have children. The imperial palace pharmacist once taught Feiyan to use mutton flower soup to wash it, but it was impossible to save it. The two sisters Feiyan and Hede were so secretive that they regretted it.

It is said that Zhao Feiyan's body is extremely light, and every time he swings with a slender waist and flies in the wind, it seems that he is going to ride the wind away. Once, when Zhao Feiyan was dancing on a high stage in the palace, everyone was fascinated when suddenly a gust of wind blew, and Zhao Feiyan danced with the wind, as if she was really about to be blown away by the wind. So Emperor Cheng quickly asked the musicians to pull Zhao Feiyan's skirt to prevent him from being blown away by the wind. When the wind stopped, he found that Zhao Feiyan's Yunying purple skirt was actually wrinkled, and from then on, the ladies in the palace wore this specially made wrinkled skirt, called "Liuxian Skirt".

In the first 11 years, she encouraged the emperor to kill the prince of the harem, leaving the allusion of "swallow pecking the emperor's grandson". In the first 7 years, Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty died of illness, and Zhao Feiyan had no children. She supported the establishment of Emperor Ai of the Han Dynasty, so she was respected as the queen dowager after Emperor Ai ascended the throne.

A year ago, Emperor Ai died and Emperor Ping of the Han Dynasty ascended the throne. Zhao Feiyan lost her support and was first demoted by the "Empress Dowager" to Empress Xiaocheng, and then soon after was abolished as a commoner. Finally, she was sent to the tomb of Emperor Cheng to guard the tomb. Zhao Feiyan could not bear the humiliation and ended up committing suicide.
