Wen Jiabao said that Turkmenistan is an important country in Central Asia, and China appreciates Turkmenistan's policy of "permanent neutrality" and its positive role in maintaining stability in Central Asia. China is willing to strengthen consultation and cooperation with Turkey to jointly promote peace, security and development in the region. Berdymukhamedov said that Turkey hopes to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with China, implement the natural gas pipeline project well, expand exchanges in various fields, and promote the sustainable development of Turkey-China relations. Turkey is willing to strengthen cooperation in the field of security with China and jointly maintain regional peace and stability.
