On this day, 749 years ago, on June 14, 1276 (May 1, 1276, the 1276 lunar calendar), Zhao Gang of the Southern Song Dynasty succeeded to the throne in Fuzhou. Zhao Shi (1269-l278), Emperor Duanzong of the Song Dynasty, was the concubine of Emperor Gongzong of the Song Dynasty and was once granted the title of Duke Jianguo. After Emperor Gong of Song ascended the throne, he was granted the title of King Ji. In the first month of 1276 (the second year of Dezhan), the Yuan army approached Lin 'an, and Zhao was the King of Yi and fled to Fuzhou. On June 14 (the first day of May), Prime Minister Chen Yizhong was stationed in Fuzhou and changed his name to Jingyan. His mother, Consort Yang Shufei, also attended the government. Yuan soldier Fujian, he fled to the sea. Ships are anchored near Huizhou, Guangdong, and are in exile at sea.
