On this day 114 years ago, on December 18, 1911 (October 28, 1911), the North-South Armistice Negotiated. On December 18, 1911, Tang Shaoyi, a representative of the Qing court, and Wu Tingfang, a representative of the revolutionary army, held their first meeting in Shanghai. On November 27, after the Qing army captured Hanyang, the Wuhan military government was in chaos.
