In June, the presidential palace was bombarded and a rebellion against Sun Yat-sen was launched. In January 1923, he was sent out of the countryside by electricity and fled to Huizhou. After 1925, he lived in seclusion in Hong Kong, organized the Zhi Gong Party, and served as prime minister.
