In 1942, Wang Yitang (front row left) took a photo with the Japanese army when he was the president of the "New People's Association". On September 10, 1948, Wang Yitang was sentenced to death for traitor in Peiping. Wang Yitang, formerly known as Geng, was born in 1877. He was born in Hefei, Anhui Province. He studied military in Japan in his early years. After returning to China, he served under Xu Shichang, the governor of the three northeastern provinces, and then attached to Yuan Shikai and Duan Qirui. He served as the chief of internal affairs of the Beiyang warlord government, the speaker of the House of Representatives of the Anfu Parliament, and the general representative of the Northern Parliament.
