Archduke of Moscow Dimitri in battle

On September 8, 1380, the Battle of Kulikovo broke out. The Archduke of Moscow, Dimitri, led an 80,000-strong Russian-allied army to face more than 100,000 troops led by Mamehan, the Golden Horde Khanate of Mongolia, in the Kulikowo Field on the River Don. After making great sacrifices, the Ross army defeated the Mongolian army in an ambush. The battle shook the rule of the Golden Horde Khanate in Northeastern Russia, and the Duchy of Moscow, as the core force of the unification of Northeastern Russia (Russia), was further strengthened.
