On August 31, 1931, Jiang Guangci, a famous modern Chinese writer and one of the advocates of proletarian literature, died in Shanghai at the age of 30. Jiang Guangci (1901~ 1931) was originally known as a chivalrous monk, and his pen name was Guangchi, a native of Jinzhai, Anhui. Participated in the student movement in Wuhu area during the "May 4th" period. In the 10th year of the Republic of China (1921), he went to study at Oriental University in Moscow, Soviet Union. He joined the Communist Party of China the following year and engaged in literary activities after returning to China. He used to be a professor at Shanghai University. In the 16th year of the Republic of China, he organized the "Sun Society" with Ah Ying, Meng Chao and others. He edited literary magazines such as "Sun Monthly", "Times Literature and Art", "New Current", "Pioneer" and other literary magazines to promote revolutionary literature. He is the author of poetry collections "New Dreams", "Lament for China", novels "Young Wanderers", "Wild Sacrifice", "The Moon Breaking Through the Siege" and so on. Shortly after returning from Japan, Jiang Guangci found Tian Han, director of the Nanguo Society, and said, "I need a lover." So Tian Han introduced Wu Sihong, an actor from the Nanguo Society, to him. Two weeks later, Jiang, who never drinks alcohol, had a little drink and excitedly said to Wu: "I have to love you now." The next day, she called a taxi and drove to Wu Sihong's school, stuffed her luggage into the car, and pulled Wu to his house. That night, the two lived together.
