Thirty-five years ago today, on June 23, 1990 (May 1, 1990), the dragon-shaped flying saucer incident in Kaifeng, Henan Province. Around June 23, 1990, a fire dragon-shaped UFO appeared repeatedly over Hubei Province and Henan Province, especially in the early morning of June 23. Thousands of people in the two provinces witnessed the dragon-shaped flying saucer, especially when the dragon-shaped flying saucer flew over Longting Park in Kaifeng City and landed a silver-gray man-made metal fragment. This kind of flying saucer sighting with a large number of witnesses and conclusive physical evidence is the first in China's 5,000-year history. After the "6.23" UFO incident, Pingdingshan TV Station, "Luoyang Daily", "Zhengzhou Evening News", "Kaifeng Daily", "Flying Saucer Exploration" magazine, the internal journal of the China UFO Research Association "Heaven and Earth Quest" magazine, CCTV and other media quickly made coverage of the UFO incident. This is the once sensational "1990.6.23" dragon-shaped flying saucer incident in Kaifeng, Henan Province. It has also become the most valuable UFO case in the history of China's UFO research due to the wide range of sightings, the large number of witnesses, the sound, light and electricity, the complete evidence, the twists and turns of the case, and the detailed investigation report of the sightings. It is also the only UFO case in China that has been filed and investigated by the national security organs. At about 4 am on June 22, 1990, dozens of flying saucers appeared over the western part of Baofeng County in Pingdingshan Prefecture, Henan Province. The flying saucers flew from the southwest to the northeast. At about 3 am on June 23, 1990, when a UFO flew over Shishou City, Hubei Province, many people on duty and enjoying the shade witnessed a dish-shaped flying object flying in an arc from south to northeast. They also found that there were four green lights neatly arranged on the right side of the UFO, and one of the lights near the tail was particularly bright. It seemed that the diameter of the UFO was about 1 meter. When the UFO was about to fly over the Nankou Bridge, He Xuan flashed a flashlight at the UFO a few times, and then three green lights went out, leaving only the brightest one at the tail still flashing. At 3:01 a.m. on June 23, 1990, when the unidentified flying object flew 240 kilometers to the sky above the oil pump and nozzle factory in Suizhou City, Hubei Province, more than a dozen workers were amazed when they saw the UFO spraying flames and making no sound, almost falling on their heads. Fu Min said, I saw that the thing flew very slowly and steadily, just like clouds in the sky. Liu Mu and Ye Xu recalled that they could see the bright hole in the center of the flying object that resembled an airplane porthole, and the flames sprayed backward by the flying object always maintained a shape, like the tip of a brush. They also noticed that where the UFO flew, the stars were blocked. At that time, the starry sky was clear, and it was very round at the bottom, and it looked like an airship on the side. 7 UFOs are arranged in an orderly manner. In the early morning of June 23, 1990, Ren Ziyi and his family went to pick up people at Zhumadian Railway Station in Henan Province. At 3:00 a.m., Ren Ziyi saw a group of UFOs dragging long apricot tail lights to form a ribbon-shaped colored chain. They were slowly and silently flying over Jiefang Avenue from southwest to northeast. He subconsciously used the 3-section flashlight in his hand to shine at the group of flying objects. At the same time, more than 200 people in the railway station square saw the spectacle. From the discovery of the UFO at 3:00 a.m. to the disappearance at 3:05 a.m., the sighting took about 5 minutes and 20 seconds. The UFO flew over the urban area of Zhumadian for about 3 to 4 minutes. The flight speed was slow and the flight direction was stable. It maintained a southwest-northeast and slightly east direction from sighting to disappearance. The apparent length of the UFO and its tail light is about 35 meters, the apparent width is about 1 to 1.5 meters, and the flight apparent height is about 300 to 500 meters. It gives people the general feeling of flying past the roof of a high building. When looking up, the vision is clear, but the actual height is estimated to be more than 350 meters. Judging from the light source of the flying object, the shape of the flying object is not clear. There are 7 flying entities in total. They are arranged in an orderly manner, with a certain distance between the front and rear. The light color is apricot yellow. The closer the light source is, the brighter it is. There is a gap at the end of the tail light. At about 3 am on June 23, 1990, witnesses saw an orange-red luminous ball without a beam of light rising vertically in southwestern Henan Province. About ten seconds later, a similar luminous body twice the size of the first luminous ball rose from the same spot, followed by a long luminous tail. After a few dozen seconds, the two luminous bodies began to fly at a constant speed to the northeast. When they flew to the Pingdingshan area and over Xiangcheng County, people clearly saw a leader in front of them, followed by several colorful and orderly luminous balls in red, white, blue, green, and blue. In the next two or three minutes, thousands of people witnessed the UFO in Zhumadian, Luoyang, Xuchang, Jiaozuo, Zhengzhou, Kaifeng and Shangqiu. At 3:03, the UFO flew away over the northeast of Kaifeng. The UFO was led by one of the largest luminous balls, followed by many small luminous balls. The luminous balls were solid, and each ball had a tail behind it. It looked like a large tadpole followed by many small tadpoles. Since the relative positions between the luminous balls remained unchanged, they could be considered as a whole or a group of UFOs flying in formation. The brightness of the UFO decreased from head to tail, and the light emitted was mostly white and orange. Its length in the field of vision is more than ten meters, and the leading luminous ball looks like the size of a blue ball. The UFO debris fell from the sky. The UFO was silent as it flew overhead. More than a minute after it disappeared, there were a few rumbling sounds in the sky. After another 40 seconds, a large piece of metal debris fell from the sky, which happened to land in No. 24 Brick Bridge Street in Kaifeng City. After breaking off several branches of the only tree in the courtyard and getting a buffer, it hit Xing Zhixiang's bicycle, smashing the left handlebar and bending the car beam. The debris did not deform or bend. There was a loud noise during the collision, which was the same as the sound of the porcelain basin being smashed. It was exactly 3:5 when the debris landed. At 3:00 a.m. on June 24, seven or eight spherical luminous bodies the size of blue balls flew in a formation from southwest to northeast, slowly flying over Ningling County in Shangqiu, Henan Province. They were silent and looked about 80 meters long. They were connected to each other by faint light bands. The first two luminous bodies were fiery red, and the last two luminous bodies were light yellow. They gradually disappeared after flying for more than a minute. One evening in June, around 7:30, the sun had set and the sky was slightly dark. Hou Junxian, Sports Committee of Henan University, and others saw a queue of orange luminous bodies the size of incandescent lamps in Kaifeng City flying silently and uniformly from southeast to northwest, just like satellites floating past. The queue can be divided into three groups: front, middle and back. The middle group has eight or nine luminous bodies. The luminous bodies are solid and have no trails. In addition, someone reported to the author that a dragon-shaped UFO was flying slowly over Luohe City, Henan Province one afternoon in June 1990.
