On the day before 1836, September 28, 0189 (the first day of the ninth lunar month), Dong Zhuo abolished the young emperor and established Chen Liuwang and Liu Xie as emperor.
Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty, named Liu Xie, also known as Bohe, was Han nationality. His ancestral home was in Pei County, Jiangsu Province and was born in Luoyang. He was born in the fourth year of Guanghe (181 AD) and died in the second year of Qinglong (234 AD). His father, Emperor Ling of the Han Dynasty, and his biological mother was Wang Meiren. Because he was favored by Emperor Ling of the Han Dynasty, on September 28, 189 AD, Dong Zhuo deposed and killed the young emperor Liu Bian and made Liu Xie emperor. This was Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty. In 192 AD, Wang Yun and Dong Zhuo's adopted son Lu Bu attacked and killed Dong Zhuo. Liu Xie fell into the hands of Li Jue and Guo Fan again.
