On this day, 228 years ago, on October 22, 1797 (September 3, 1797 in the lunar calendar), Ganalin, France completed the parachute jump from an aircraft for the first time in human history. On October 22, 1797, Frenchman André-Jacques Garnerin completed the first parachute jump from an aircraft in human history. André-Jacques Garnerin (January 31, 1769-August 18, 1823) was a French balloonist, the first person in history to successfully use a parachute regularly. He improved parachute technology and invented a boneless parachute, making it possible to land safely at high altitude. Ganalin was born in Paris and studied physics when he was young. In 1793, he became a scout for the French army and began to advocate the application of balloon technology in the military. But he was arrested during a military operation against Britain and sentenced to two years in prison. After being released from prison, he began to study how to make balloons fly higher. In 1797, Ganarin performed publicly in the Parc de Monceau in Paris. He jumped from 1000 meters in the air and successfully landed with a silk parachute. He then began touring in northern Europe, leaping from an astonishing 2400-meter height in London in 1802. Ganalin's improved parachute has a diameter of 7 meters and is made of white canvas in the shape of an umbrella. Most of his aviation feats were accomplished with the assistance of his brother Jean-Babtiste Olivier Ganarin. Ganarin died in Paris in 1823. The parachute used at that time had a diameter of 7 meters. Comment: Create the pioneer of skydiving now!
