China linguist Luo Zhenyu's birthday

Luo Zhenyu, an agronomist, educator, archaeologist, epigrapher, Dunhuang scientist, bibliographer, prologue, paleographer, the pioneer of modern Chinese agronomy, and the founder of modern Chinese archaeology. He has made considerable contributions to Chinese science, culture and scholarship. He participated in the development of modern Chinese agronomy, preserved the archives of the cabinet, engaged in the research and dissemination of oracle bone inscriptions, sorted out Dunhuang scrolls, carried out the study of Han and Jin wooden slips, and advocated the study of ancient Ming instruments. In his lifetime, he wrote 189 kinds and 642 kinds of school books.

Luo Zhenyu, born in Shangyu, Zhejiang on August 8, 1866, has the characters such as, Shuyun, Shuyan, and the name Xuetang, a native of Yongfeng Township, and the name Zhensong Old Man and Songweng in the evening. He was a scholar at the age of 15. In the 16th year of the Qing Dynasty (1890), he was a teacher and wrote a book in the countryside. In the 22nd year, he founded an agricultural society in Shanghai with Jiang Axe and others and opened an agricultural newspaper office. In the 24th year, he founded the Eastern Literature Society. In the 26th year, at the invitation of Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Hubei Province, he served as the director of the Hubei Agricultural Affairs Bureau and the supervisor of the Agricultural Affairs School. In the 28th year, he served as the supervisor of the Hongkou Branch of Nanyang College. The following year, he joined the General Office of Guangdong and Guangdong Cen Chunxuanmu to consult on academic affairs. In the 30th year, he was appointed by the Xuantong First Year (1909) Supplementary Counselor and Agricultural Supervisor of Beijing University (now Peking University). In 1911, the 1911 Revolution broke out, and Wang Guowei and others fled to Japan to engage in academic research. He returned to China in 1919 and lived in Tianjin. In 1921, he participated in the organization of the "Dunhuang Classics and Registries Collection. In 1924, he was summoned by Puyi and entered the study room of Zhinan. In 1928, he moved to Lushun. After the September 18 Incident, he participated in the planning and establishment of the puppet Manchukuo and held various pseudo-positions. On June 19, 1940, Luo Zhenyu died at the age of 74.
