Zhu Fukan was born in Yinxian County, Zhejiang in 1900. As a child, he had the reputation of a prodigy. At the age of 7, he could write large-character stone drum texts. Wu Changshuo was amazed when he saw it and called it "Xiaowaiyou". At the age of 16, his work was selected for the "National Famous Prints" published by Sweep Yeshanfang; at the age of 18, Youzheng Bookstore published his copybooks; at the age of 23, the Commercial Press published his "Jingchan Prints", with Wu Changshuo's title page and Luo Zhenyu's title bookmark. Zhu Fukan has read a lot of books and has a wide range of knowledge, including gold and stone calligraphy and painting, ancient poetry, and ancient bronze jade. He knows everything and is excellent in everything. Ma Gongyu, a famous calligraphy and painting seal engraver, praised: "Zhu Jun's art has been done by one person for thousands of years." Zhang Daqian, a Chinese painting master, commented: "Zhu Jun is the only one who can surpass the current and open a generation of Zongfeng." The artist Liu Haisu said of him: "Between the pen and ink, there are profound thoughts and flavors. He has wandered for three generations, and his heart is in good fortune." In his later years, Zhu Fukan worked tirelessly and worked hard to create, focusing on the study of the bronze culture of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. He compiled the bronze patterns, inscriptions and rubbings he collected and studied throughout his life into "The Essence of Shang and Zhou Arts and Literature". In recent years, his large-scale colored gold and stone calligraphy and painting albums have been published, and his antique bronzes such as the "Cheng Zeling" diacritical bell, the "Zhonghua Ding", the "Rong's Baoding", and the "Chinese Bronze Kowloon Baoding" have all come out.
