31 years ago today, on October 23, 1994 (September 19, 1994 lunar calendar), our country's high-speed railway vehicle test bench was built in Qingdao. In October 1994, our country's railway vehicle rolling and vibration test bench was built and successfully demonstrated at the Qingdao Sifang Vehicle Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways, with a speed of 333 km/h. The high-speed railway vehicle test bench is the first time in China, and it is also the highest record of the speed of the railway vehicle test bench in our country. It marks that our country has the means to conduct high-speed tests and has reached the international advanced level. This kind of test bench can simulate the motion state of passenger and cargo vehicles on the ideal straight road, determine the stability of the snaking motion of the vehicle bogie, and determine the critical speed of instability. It can simulate the angle of attack between the wheel and rail when the vehicle curve passes and the track is too high, determine the derailment stability of the vehicle, and carry out the wheel-rail creep test to study the wheel-rail interaction.
