Shan Tianfang was born on December 17, 1934 in a family of quyi in Yingkou City. He was a Chinese storytelling performing artist and writer. In 2012, he won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 7th China Quyi Peony Award Ceremony. Shan Tianfang stepped onto the storytelling stage in 1954. On May 1, 1979, Shan Tianfang returned to the book world. In 1995, Shan Tianfang established Beijing Dantianfang Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. On January 26, 2007, Shan Tianfang announced the closing of the mountain. "Old Shop Situation" is his closing work. In 2011, he published his autobiography "Closer to home: Shan Tianfang talks about Shan Tianfang".
