106 years ago today, on July 14, 1919 (June 17, 1919 lunar calendar), Xiangjiang Review was first published. On July 14, 1919, Xiangjiang Review was first published in Changsha. The inaugural issue published the founding declaration of "Xiangjiang Review" signed by Mao Zedong. In the manifesto, Mao Zedong pointed out: "What is the biggest problem in the world? The problem of eating is the biggest. What is the strongest force? The power of the people to unite is the strongest." After the inaugural issue of "Xiangjiang Review" was sent to Beijing, Li Dazhao considered it the most influential and insightful publication in the country. The Morning Post also introduced it, saying that it was "complete in content" and "very courageous". All the inaugural issues were sold out on the same day. More than 2,000 copies have been reprinted, but it still cannot meet the needs of the masses. Since the second issue, 5,000 copies have been reprinted.
