During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, in 1931, he was selected as a member of the young athletes of the Yunnan Provincial Sports Delegation to participate in the National Games held in Beiping. When they had just arrived in Hong Kong from Yunnan, the "September 18" incident broke out. The national disaster was imminent, and the sports meeting naturally could not be held, so the Yunnan team had to withdraw. In 1938, he needed to be named Zhuolin because of his work. In August 1939, he was introduced and married Deng Xiaoping that month. Zhuolin was 12 years younger than Deng Xiaoping and became Deng Xiaoping's third wife. Both were dragons. Since then, he has been following his husband to leave Yan'an and go to the front line. He worked successively in the secretarial department of the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and other units or departments, and served as the captain of the women's training class.
