On December 6, 1997, Dong Zhujun, a member of the second to seventh committees of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a famous democratic patriot and an early female entrepreneur in our country, died in Beijing at the age of 98 due to illness. Dong Zhujun, formerly known as Dong Huang, was born in Shanghai and went to study in Japan in 1915. From 1922 to 1936, he successively founded Sichuan Rickshaw Company, Women's Hosiery Factory, Shanghai Qunyi Sha Pipe Factory, Jinjiang Sichuan Restaurant and Jinjiang Tea Room. During the period of the New Democratic Revolution, she used the opportunity to run a business and run a business to cover for our party, collect data and intelligence, subsidize the underground party organizations and revolutionary comrades of the Communist Party of China, and contribute to the cause of Chinese people's liberation led by the Communist Party of China. Her father was a rickshaw driver, her mother was a washerwoman, and her family was impoverished. At the age of 12, she was forced to make a living and was forced to become a brothel singer in order to treat her father's illness. In a brothel, Dong Zhujun met Xia Shi, a revolutionary, and agreed with her heart. On the eve of her boss forcing her to break up, Dong Zhujun deftly escaped from the tiger's mouth, married Xia Shi, who was being wanted, and came to Japan with him. In Japan, Dong Zhujun was eager to learn knowledge and culture. Four years later, she returned to Chengdu with Xia Shi and became the prominent wife of the governor of Sichuan Province for a while. However, the closure and backwardness of the Xia family in Sichuan made Dong Zhujun, who was just starting a new life, suffocate. She tried her best to persuade Xia Shi to leave here, but Xia was completely depressed due to the disappointment of her career, and indulged in opium and mahjong all day long. Originally, after the initial love honeymoon, in fact, when living together in Japan, the change of thought and domineering of the summer time had made the stubborn Dong Zhujun more and more unbearable. At this moment, seeing that he and several beloved children were about to be buried in this dead tomb, after countless hard-earned persuasion failed, the 29-year-old Dong Zhujun still divorced her husband, gave up the luxurious, rich and leisurely life, and left Sichuan with his four daughters.
