On September 26, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiankun hosted a routine press conference with reporters asking questions about Iran sanctions.

In this regard, Guo Jiangkun said that China has always insisted on resolving Iran's nuclear issue through political diplomatic means, opposing armed threats and sanctions pressure. Launching the Security Council's "rapid reinstatement of sanctions" is not constructive and does not help to rebuild trust and overcome differences.
