Following the collision, Russian passengers were transferred to a spare aircraft and flew from Sheremetyevo to St. Petersburg at 23:56 p.m. Some passengers of China Airlines said the departure time was delayed and had to spend the night in Moscow.
The Russian Federation Air Transport Authority has set up a committee to investigate the cause of the collision, headed by the agency’s deputy director, Andrey Bo-Kim, which consists of groundwork experts, flight safety engineers and representatives from air traffic control services.
