At the Global Atomic Energy Forum held in Russia on September 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia plans to build the world's first closed circular nuclear power plant by 2030.

Putin explained that this means that more than 95% of the nuclear waste generated by nuclear power plants will be recycled and put into use to maximize the use of fuel. (CCTV News)
