Parliament of Kyrgyzstan dissolves itself

On September 25, local time, the parliament of Kyrgyzstan adopted a decision to dissolve the parliament on its own.

Deputy Primov said that the next parliamentary election was originally scheduled to be held in November 2026, followed by a month of presidential elections. In order to avoid domestic political instability, parliamentary elections need to be held in advance and therefore announced their dissolution.

The parliament of Kyrgyzstan is a one-chamber system with 90 seats, each for a term of five years.
